Discover Young Learners

Brad Hall, with his wife Andrea, served as Mission President for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Mexico City Northwest, Mexico Mission from 2013-2016. While serving, Brad and Andrea had the opportunity to work with hundreds of talented young adults who came from various cultures and backgrounds to sacrifice eighteen months or two years to serve a full-time mission and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. They saw many of these young people return to their home countries after their missions where opportunities were scarce, and education was difficult to achieve.

Our Mission

The mission of The Brad and Andrea Hall Family Foundation is to improve the quality of life for returned missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through education.

This is accomplished by providing financial assistance and mentoring to help students become self-reliant leaders in their families, communities, and church.

Ever since I was a child, I have wanted to attend BYU and to do farming. As I got older this dream grew within me. I developed a desire to help the people of my country and I recognized that one avenue would be through agriculture production. Thanks to the Brad and Andrea Hall Foundation I can pursue my dream. I do not have words sufficient to express my gratitude.

Whenever I think about the Hall Foundation and the opportunity given to me to attend BYU-Idaho a scripture found in Luke 12:48 comes to my mind, “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required”. I believe it is a great responsibility to make a difference in Mexico, my home country I love so much. Thank you to those who organized and continues to contribute to this scholarship program. It truly turns dreams of education into reality.
