Lifting individuals starts with an idea, and spreads to whole communities. Many are able to rise together through service.
Service September is all about giving back and making a difference in our community. By working together, we can accomplish great things and create lasting change!
This year, projects were completed in Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, and Utah.
Senergy employees gave the “The Gift of Reading” to local foster care children. Employees built shelves and gathered gently new or used books to create a reading corner at a foster care center.
The Hall Foundation added additional items: more books, a few new toys, and a cozy rug & pillows. The children were already enjoying their new space just moments after it was set up!
The Valley of the Sun United Way organization spent the day with Senergy Petroleum employees in Gilbert, Arizona.
More than 24 employees created snack packs for children with food insecurity, built mindfulness kits for kids who need help focusing during school, and used their creativity to brings books to life by illustrating the artwork on bags to bring awareness to literacy in the home.
Senergy employees came together to pack backpacks with school supplies and food for local school districts and children in need.
Senergy employees hosted a “Party for Pets” and spent time volunteering at the Arizona Humane Society. The Hall Foundation matched donations and provided cupcakes for all who participated in the supply drive. Highlights of volunteering included making treats to feed to the dogs and providing stimulation play for the cats.
Good 2 Go employees from Superior, Arizona spent 11 hours passing out water and cooling neck wraps to community members during the Prickly Pear festival.
In addition, they donated $500 to the Superior Food Bank which will be used to provide Thanksgiving meals to individuals in need.
LP Propane assembled 100 hygiene kits that will be distributed to children in need in the American Fall School District. They currently have 300 unhoused children in their school district so these hygiene kits are greatly needed & appreciated.
Just 4 Kids Urgent Care employees from the Idaho Falls clinic got together to assemble 150 hygiene kits for local children.
Brad Hall Companies payroll team and several other employees from their headquarters helped a local group to cook, clean up, and serve lunch to over 500 people in need in Idaho Falls.
In addition, the Hall Foundation donated $500 to help purchase supplies.
Bingham Ag Services employees organized a drive to gather backpacks and school supplies for over 300 foster children in Southeast Idaho.
Employees from Brad Hall Companies stuffed 2,178 packs for The Idaho Period Project.
The Idaho Period Project’s mission is to ensure access to free, easily accessible period products for Idaho K-12 public and charter school students.
The Accounting, Legal, and Human Resources Departments from Brad Hall Companies teamed up to plant 51 trees at the Tiger Athletic Complex in Idaho Falls, Idaho. This complex will benefit youth sports and promote healthy lifestyles in the Idaho Falls and surrounding community for many years to come.
The Brad Hall Companies legal team along with employees from Teton Petroleum Transport, South Fork Property Management, and Senergy Petroleum built 2 dog agility ramps to enrich the lives of dogs at the Snake River Animal Shelter, a non-profit shelter in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Good 2 Go stores throughout the Western United States collected donations for the purchase of peanut butter in all stores. They were about the raise a total of $3,289 that purchased 1,954 jars of peanut butter! The Hall Foundation matched every jar with a jar of jelly as well!
(All jars were sent to the nearest food bank where the donations were collected.)

Employees were encouraged to keep a few kits in their vehicles to hand out when they see someone in need. Additionally, employees’ children colored and wrote messages for our active-duty military members in partnership with Packages from Home.
